I have a business computer we use for email. It has around 5 email accounts. Today, when I checked my email, I had recieved 3000 emails. I investegated further and found I actually had about 100. Out of those 100, they had replicated and put exact copies. I use outlook express, the accounts are seperated to send to seperate folders. These email accounts have worked for around 4 yr without expierencing this problem. I have scanned with Norton and found no virus. I did also note that the emails seemed to replicate either before I recieve them or during the process of recieving them. The emails are from different legitamate companies, so it isn't a spammer. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this? I have installed three SPAM filters, which have been installed for about 2 months and have worked correctly. I use Postal Inspector, McAfee SpamKiller, and a default filter through my POP3 provider. I am basically looking for some troubleshooting advice. I have no clue how to fix this one. Thanks!
