Hi All,

I received an e-mail this morning that was pathedic. Here is is.

Subject Line: Worm Klez_E immunity

Klez.E is the most common world-wide spreading worm.It's very dangerous by corrupting your files.
Because of its very smart stealth and anti-anti-virus technic,most common AV software can't detect or clean it.
We developed this free immunity tool to defeat the malicious virus.
You only need to run this tool once,and then Klez will never come into your PC.
NOTE: Because this tool acts as a fake Klez to fool the real worm,some AV monitor maybe cry when you run it.
If so,Ignore the warning,and select 'continue'.

First if your antivirus program is updated it will detect the Klez_ Virus.

They say you will only have to run this program once. Well Duh, that's because you must ignore all alerts from you antivirus program.

Lastly they say because this is a fake Klez_ that your AV might detect it and to just ignore your AV.

Symantic does have a little program that will scan your PC for the different types of Klez_ Viruses. It is called Fix Klez. Only takes a minute to run.

I did e-mail this person back and guess what!! Mail System Error--Returned Mail.

Thought I would share this even though I know most would not fall it.
One person may though think they are doing the right thing and if this helps that one person then it was worth my time.

As i know, when the virus is sent, it doesnt use the sender's email address, but the email of the person who infected him.

The e-mail address was actually a link in the message text. Along with the statement if you have any questions e-mail me.
Believe they did so to make it look even more lagitament.

hello
if you read that much of the e mail you now have the klez virus. run a complete up to date virus scan. and goto house calls antivirus and do free online scan

Watch Out! I have gotten 5 Klez virii in my emails in the past six weeks so ALWAYS scan your attachments for viruses before running the program.
