Comment: I have received 2 e-mails from "support@microsoft.com" containing attachments with .pif extension. When opened they create a file msccn.exe or msccn32.exe and place in startup. On boot up the file auto sets up internet connection. Anyone any knowledge of this?

Reply: (edit)It's the Palyh virus, which spoofs the MicroSoft address and is a mass mailer worm. It is a recent addition to the list!! Is your anti virus software up to date?
