Ladies and Gents, boys and girls and freaks of nature.... :)

A lot of you respond to Hi Jack This logs and start your responces out with.

"I am no expert"

Who is an expert??? Those that claim they are normally have self appointed themselves the title of expert when they are far from one.

You folks need to give yourself a lot more credit. You know a lot more than your avg. joe and in the world of computers nobody can no it all, nobody.

So take pride in what you know and the fact that you help many people resolve their issues. Besides, I know of no expert(s) who post replies to these pleas for helps.

There are no experts, only those attempting to learn through their efforts to help others. In so doing they enhance their knowledge.
The least among us can often bring insight on issues simply by asking a single question overlooked by the "experts".
Do not fear to offer opinions or possible solutions backed up by research and thought for they may be the key for the solution of a posters dilemma.

Thanks KTTD

Thanks KTTD.

Of course you are right, there are no experts on everything (except maybe Tom41 on Security - I search for his responses just to learn new stuff).

Well said, all. Someday I hope to be able to assist other people too, but as a person who is into his first 6 months into learning how to use a computer, I'm a very long way away from doing that. Someday, I hope to be able to help people as so many kind people have regularly helped me learn every time I asked for help.
Someday, I'll learn this darn machine!!

Thanks to all for this forum - it's the best, because of the great people who make it that way!!!

Admittedly I've read so many HJT posts but but that does not make me an expert. For those of you who'd like to get a glimpse of what it take to properly anaylze a HJT, see the tutor at http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/

Enjoy!
