Reply: (edit)It's called spoofing. Someone who has your E-mail address in their address book has this virus. The title of the E-mail may also be taken from an old E-mail on that persons infected PC.

Reply: (edit)Actually, it is a common Spam E-Mail trick to get it past filters and to get your attention enough to open it. You would never setup an e-mail filter to block something from yourself. And all they want is for you to open it and see what it is about. As they have their own program to send the e-mail, they can insert any "From:" address they want, including yours or something close to yours, just to get you to open it.

Reply: (edit)"You would never setup an e-mail filter to block something from yourself." Watch me. (actually, I use a mail proxy program that allows emails from myself *if* they came from a netblock I'm familiary with. Emails to me from, say, a Chinese ISP get flushed silently.)
