My daughter is having a lot of problems with her laptop. Runs slow extremely slow. Surfing the internet takes forever even though the wireless shows great reception. At one point it wouldn't connect to the internet at all. We rebooted the router and got connected but it is too slow to work on. Evidently my daughter did not have her anti virus updated. My IT guy suggested downloading Spybot, CCleaner and Adaware but when we try that it says it will take 8-10 hours (wireless cable connection) to download. Can I download it to a cd at work and then run it on her laptop at home?

yes, download it from other computer and burn it to a CD

you`ll be able to install it to your laptop

also check the hard drive space

low space can result in slow system

then defragment the system drive
