Every 2-3 weeks I would go to Norton and download the virus definition update files for Norton AV...and burn it to a CD...
We have a number of clients on dial up...and it's faster and easier if I just take a CD along to the client and install the latest virus defs from the cd rather than having them download from dialup...All of these clients have legitimate licenses to AV 2003...and within the time limit...
Today I find that Norton no longer allows a separate download of the virus defs...
It's totally subscription and evidently on-line...
