I recently ran Ad Aware on my computer, the anti-spyware program, and the pop up blocker Free Surfer mk II. Since then, I've been unable to download files without them being corrupted somehow during transfer. For example I just tried to d/l a free anti-virus program, and it downloaded fine, but when trying to install it tells me the file was corrupted during download. It tells me the same thing for other downloaded programs. I've tried to redownload and reinstall and it does the same thing everytime. Any suggestions? Did I perhaps erase something with the spyware program I shouldn't have?

Try uninstalling the popup stopper and then downloading a program. If you need a popup stopper the one that comes with the new Google Toolbar works very good. If after uninstalling the popup stopper you still have problems open the quarentine area of Adaware and restore all the files. Then check to see if things work. You could also do a system restore to a point prior to you installing these two programs if things still do not work.
