Double-Clicking C: Icon Erorr In My Computer.

Emachines / El1200
July 8, 2009 at 06:35:15
Specs: Windows XP
"Windows cannot find 'RECYCLER\S-5-2-44-
100029049-100021299-5841.com'. Make sure
you typed the name correctly, and then try
again. To search for a file, click the Start
button, and then click Search."

I get that error whenever I double-click on the
C: icon in my computer. If I right click and
open/explore it's ok, and if I type C:\ in the url
box of a window it works too.

Please help, i'd be willing to do anything
WITHIN REASON as a token of my gratitude.

1) Install, update database and run full scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Attach malwarebyte full scan log, fix anything detected.

2) Run full Scan with SuperAntispyware : http://www.superantispyware.com/dow... . Fix what it detects and post summary scan log.

If I'm helping you and I don't reply within 24 hours send me a PM.

So_Smart_s0_Dumb, Download and run Autorun Eater 2.4 at the link below. It should solve your problem.
