Double lettering

I am having a problem trying to load my os because when I go to enter my hard drive password, every letter I enter gets entered twice automatically.

Are you referring to a BIOS password? Reset the jumper to disable the password. Or, try another keyboard.

I don't know why but if I unplug all usb chords and such the keyboard will work proper.
It is a new laptop so I don't know, I think that I will have to go through the chords to see wich one is giving me the problem. It has been working for three days and now I have this problem

Might be a USB problem. It will be interesting to know which cable you have to remove to stop the problem.
