having learnt much from this site, I have installed adaware, spybot, spywareguard, spywareblaster, and ie-spyad on a friends pc, which has got rid of loads of unwanted crapware etc. however, when he goes into add/remove programs in xp, he gets a listing for DotComTollbar.NL which he cannot remove. Sometimes, but not always, his homepage gets hijacked. Does anybody know how he can get rid of this? Many thanx in advance for the expert advice which will probably follow. Cheers

I don't see the CW-Shredder, have you run it? Download to and run from your desktop - Hit the fix button CW-Shredder If that doesn't work and you have ran all the other programs after updating. Post a HiJackThis scan of the system should reveal the problem. HiJackThis and Instructions
