Hi, Laptop has been getting gradually slower over the months. It is now too slow to use. Regular IE 'not responding' and restarts required.
I currently have 62 processes running and think this is too many? Including 10 x svchost.exe using over 40k memory.
I have a Hijackthis report if required!

Are you using IE8? If so, I would suggest you uninstall it in add/remove and revert back to IE7 which is just as secure without it bogging down your PC like IE8 does. Then set your PC to manually install updates and then set IE8 so it doesn't load up again. Then you can set your PC to automatically load up critical updates again.

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers
