My Friend gets this virus alot
Subject MADCOW12 (1)

may we suggest the fish

After this alot of mixed letters and numbers.
I would like to know why it has been sent to him about 5 times in the last 2 months.
Does it use the Address Book?

I think this is just an 'ordinary' joke - I had it over a year ago

It's just a couple of Images of Cows and a Text joke

It sounds as if these your friend is getting are corrupted in some way

Is your friend with AOL by any chance? - they always have difficulty receiving HTML and Images

Of course, I could be wrong - see what other responses you get

My friend tells me his antivirus software has detected it as a virus
Any other ideas

what does his AV program say the virus is? ususally when it detects one it tells you what it is.

And is he getting the email from someone he knows? because they have a virus that uses the address book and that is why he keeps getting it.

I did a search at Trend Micro & found 3 associated with the word 'MADCOW'
Not sure they are what you are describing
