Recently I've ben having problems on my Laptop. Symptoms:
When typing, random extra letters appear. Eg: Hellob4 myv namef4g is Jightm.
Also moving the mouse opens the drop down address bar in I.Explorer.
Typing will suddenly copy and paste last few words I've been typing.
I have updated versions of Spybot and McAffee Viruscan. Spybot picks up "Avenue A inc" and "Mediaplex" but the problem came back even after eliminating them. McAffee doesn't detect anything. Symptoms come and go.
I'm behind a router and have windows firewall up at all times. What is it? Please! it's beginning to p*** me off now!

A stuck key in the keyboard could cause symptoms like this. Sometimes the mouse hardware breaks down and starts sending weird signals to the mainboard. I'd look there first.
