hi all do i have a virus this only ever happens when i am on msn/messenger some times the colours on the screen gets all distorted and when i go to type something in the chat rooms the precurser moves but no letters show up i have ran my anti virus checker but says there is nothing to be found

Mikreyb. You said you ran an anti-virus scan, is the virus patterns up to date on your virus scanner? If not then you should download the latest virus patterns. It does sound like a virus but it also could be a number of other issue.
