Starting recently a pop-up box appears when I start IE. It says that the Web page I requested is unavailable and to view it to click Connect. The options are to "connect" or "stay offline". I click OK and all is good. What initiates this message?
Next, from time to time I have unexpectantly IE start a new window by itself. The window contains advertisement. When I try to right click on it, it says, “right click is blocked by parasite software installed”. I can’t figure out what start the IE window with the advertisement, but surely would like to get rid of it.
I also have IE start by itself with nothing in it. The web address is winfixer.com/……… Any idea how I can get rid of all this stuff. I ran Ad-Aware and other spy software removers, but nothing seems to help.

Looks like vundo, try this free removal tool http://www.spywaredb.com/remove-win32-vundo-522752trojan/
Choose download SpySweeper from this line:
Delete Win32/Vundo.522752!Trojan automatically >>> Get PestPatrol or Download SpySweeper at the above link. Then download and run this cleanup tool http://www.ccleaner.com/ccdownload.asp and remember that it will empty the recycle bin, so uncheck recycle bin if you have anything in there you want to keep.

It can be Vundo infection:
try manual Vundo removal istructions
or you can choose from the wide range of antispyware products
