I have this problem: when i try to get into www.symantec.com or housecall.antivirus.com or www.f-secure.com my browser shows me a DNS error (dnserror.htm) All the other internet sites works really fine. I use IE 6.0 and i have made ALL the updates to the browser, and i use NAV and its updated to and working fine, but it does not detects any virus.
My pc runs WinME and i haves all the system updates too.

Are you trying to use the on-line scan, or is it that you cannot visit the site? If it is the scan, try disabling your antivirus program, and then run the scan. All the best!
oh how fun the DNS errors those are always a pain in the butt. if you go to www.microsoft.com then look for the knowledge base in the upper right hand corner. chose your OS and then type in DNS errors. this should better assist you
