Do I have a Trojen virus? What can I do to fix it

Specs: Windows vista, N/a
I am having the same problem. Is been going on fora little over three weeks. At first it was just random advertisements, but yesterday as i was using Ccleaner I started hearing music. Kinda sounded like music played off a horror movie or something. Can you tell me what exactly I am dealing with here? I finally installed LogMeIn so my fathers computer tech could take a look, but for some reason he does not hearing anything I do on my end. He ran a few updates and cleard 7,789mb of cookies/cache, files that I no longer need as I have uninstalled all programs I do not use or want. Also 3 weeks ago when I first heard the randomn ads I was told to install AVG. I did so then ran the virus scan and had to walk away from the pc for a moment. I came back to a blue screen of death. Somehow once I gathered the courage to restart my PC I found that all of my music and image files were not lost. I am currently waiting for an external hard drive to be delivered so I can start backing up all my important files. I am a little worried that if I do not get this problem fixed the virus will end up on my new hard drive.

What can I do?

you probably didn't uninstall the previous expired anti-virus from your PC properly, so that would cause lots of problems when trying AVG.

You most likely have an unwanted rootkit is quite easy to remove at most times.
Doenload and run these 3 progs in EXACTLY the order listed and DO NOT reboot untill after the last scan has finished running.
1- rkill.exe
2- tdss killer
3- malwarebytes

If the above doesn't clear it the SAME, ONLY this time in safemode.

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions 7 Golds
