The reason I'm posting this under the security section is because I would like to send someone a highly confidential email with certain security measures. A few years ago I remember reading about email that would "self destruct" after a certain preset time frame and could not be forwarded to other people. I have searched for such a service but cannot find any. Does anyone know of an Outlook plugin or a stand alone service where I can send a temporary, non-forwarding email? Thanks

Are you asking about sending email that self-destruct - in say 30 minutes - once the recipient open it? For this to work I guess you will have to ask the receipt to download certain application to read it. i_Xp/VistaUser

Yes that's basically what I'm looking for. I thought the way it worked was by using an html with an embedded address that would go away after a set period and would not require the recipient to need anything special.

If it's "Highly Confidential" then don't send it in an email...unless you have a classified network. EEOC
