Does anyone know an easy way of disabling a program called deepfreeze from my school's computers? The reason I want to disble it is because I want to install directX 8.1 to play some games but the installation requires a restart, so deep freeze deletes it when I restart.

Don't tamper with your school's PCs, as you'll get nailed and deserve it.
Instead, be smart about it and go to the school administration with a civilized request to add the software you so badly need.

Don't tamper with the schools computers? Please. In my programming class all we do is tamper with the computers. We don't try to cause any damage, it's just that we dont need some program designed to prevent kiddies from breaking the computers, to stop us from trying some things. I'll get nailed for it you say? Nah, my teacher even joins in and teases me, saying I could never disable deep freeze, and if I did, he'd give me $5000. Well thanks for the advice anyways, bye.

This will sound silly. Put in another hard drive disk as a master and the other one with Deep Freeze as slave
in the BIOS.Then start up and look for Deep Freeze directory folder and delete it on the D:,E:,F:,or whatever Hard Drive is lower than the C: Drive.
