i just wanted to ask , what is main differences between hacker and cracker and hijacker ,,, are the crackers like hackers but with more illegal threats ? and what is those white hacker and black hacker ? Follow your path .. coz its not anyone's else ..

I'll reply to this as some of the text books on the subject is wrong. A cracker is a person who cracks software to circumvent any shareware or registration protection. A blackhat hacker is one who tries to break into computer systems, steal vital information, or be malicious. A whitehat hacker is one who's job is to break into systems, then report the problem to the software manufacturers as bugs in the system. They have no malicious intent. A general hacker is anyone who does computer work and programming like an I.T., or hacks around with their own system. Best, Will
