Dialers, what are they?

I was just wondering, what is a dialer virus? Half Life 2 kicks ass

It's a virus that sends out from your machine for a host of different reasons. It might even be sending out pasword & credit card information. Often they dial some high rate phone number and you get a gigantic bill from your phone company. Not nice. Derek.W
