Help! i got dialer 8U. How to get rid of it? I do not want to wreck something else on the computer, as it is my friend's. What would be the simplest way? I have AVG, but it cannot get rid of it. I was reading about starting the comuter in Safe mode, but to switch System restore off? Where is this? i looked in Windows help but cannot find this option? Would there be an easier way to get rid of this annoying virus, like a software I can download??please help!

hi gauri, it would be a good idea to unplug your telephone line when you are not using your computer if you are using dsl and no firewall. a good software to install would be pestpatrol. good freeware adaware, and spybot. good free firewall zone alarm 4.5 good free anti-trojan ASquared. all the best, murve
