Reply: (edit)Sorry! Try a Google search for laptop passwords. The people at this forum who assist people will not provide you with anything that might be illegal, since Dell would not help you. Take care!

Reply: (edit)Would anybody in their right mind buy a used computer without booting it up, at least once (rhetorical)? Dell Laptop BIOS passwords can not be easily circumvented, period. V-Peace-V

Reply: (edit)Just those people that think a Dell laptop bios password works just like a desktop password, and to clear it only requires the battery to be removed or the jumper reset. I know that is how I thought they worked, but I learned by getting my right mind back. It was only $100 from a university auction, so I lost my right mind!
