I think I may have deleted the wrong svchost.exe file.
I was manually removing viruses from my pc and mistakenly removed it from my registry. What is the harm and can I put it back?

I don't even have one instance of svchost.exe on my computer running ME. I would wait and see if you get any other replies as it might be a configuration thing, but I don't think you need it.

It works for me
