Your question is confusing. IE7 doesn't have any builtin encryptions. The only thing that should matter to you is that IE7 supports 128-bit encryption.

I think on older versions you did have to download 128 bit.

I found the answer. My Menu bar was not enabled. Once enabled, I went to Help, About Internet Explorer, and looked at the listing entitled Cipher Strength. It is 256-bit.
