Posted this problem earlier and got a responst from Capt? but it disappeared? And I didn't get a chance to save it or follow his advice, so here's problem again!

Got a "System Resources Running Dangerously Low" dialogue message after Virusscan 5.0 froze up when I tried enabling internet/email scan feature in VShield. Read file mentions possible problem if running sypware like Spybot, which I am. However, my StartUp file is light and my computer was running at 94% free memory until VShield acted up, then it went to 74%? Still, 74% isn't that low, so how come I got 'Low System Resource' dialogue?

Also, can you recommend reliable freeware of trialware for firewall, virus scan, and registry cleaning? Please keep in mind that I don't have much memory and it must be light. How much memory does each require, and what is ideal memory percentage to keep free so my computer runs smoothly?

As for my 2 earlier posts, does anyone know why they were obviously pulled? Did I do something wrong? My second post today asked if a Trojan running in background could be reason for error message, or something else?
