Are there any programs out there that do the same thing as CWShredder we could switch to? I really like the simple way that program works. Hi Mark, ~Tommyo, hello everyone, Yes, CWShredder is simple and very effective. I don't know of any other programs that are as effective against all of the different variants of CoolWebSearch. Spybot, Ad-Aware, and others are good for removing some of them but I've seen also seen where some of the variants cannot be removed using them. I'm sure those behind the garbage are celebrating right now. Hopefully someone as generous as Merijn Bellekom will come along and take over. Other than that I will come to this forum and look for the manual removal procedures for the new variants provided by the generous and knowledgable people here. It is my pleasure ~Tommyo.
