You haven't said what you have tried so...
Also, list your AV and firewallYou can click on the red link in my sig and D/L and run all the free spyware cleaners. They have basic instructions.
After running them if you still have a problem, do this free on-line scan:

and remove all it finds.Post back if you still have problems

Check it's location before doing anything!
This is the user-mode portion of the Win32 subsystem (with Win32.sys being the kernel-mode portion). Csrss stands for client/server run-time subsystem and is an essential subsystem that must be running at all times. Csrss is responsible for console windows, creating and/or deleting threads, and some parts of the 16-bit virtual MS-DOS environment.
Note: The csrss.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. In other cases, csrss.exe can be a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!

hey, sorry i didnt mention, I have Kaspersky Internet Security 7. I have tried what you said, Spybot seemed to fix it. I could use task manager and control panel. restarted and i couldnt use task manager and i couldt use some thing in control panel. these were Add/Remove programs, User Accounts and Security Centre. My guess it, that there is something in my start up that triggers it, so do you want me to send a HijackThis log?
(As i was typing this, i was running Spybot again and it came up with the same results as before. Also, you can see the little error box that appears every so often. Here they are in a screenshot.)

well if spybot helped, than you may try this. turn off system restore, boot your machine in a safe mode, scan system with spybot remove everything it finds, reboot again and check whether it's gone or not. turn on the system restore..
