I saw that someone had used hitmanpro for the same problem earlier so I thought I would give it a shot. It found some errors and corrected them I believe. AVG is not finding anymore infections and windows update is now working and updating as it was not before.Mozilla firefox was also crashing repeatedly earlier, and now it seems to be stable. The computer is still running sluggish to me, but that could just be because of age. I went ahead and ran TDSSKILLER and it came back with no infections. I'm hoping that I am in the clear (knock on wood). I can post the results though if you would like. Thank you so much for the help. This Trojan has been a problem to say the least.
