Is it safe to delete all the issues that this tool finds under the issues button ? Don't want to delete anything that might cause problems with the registry or something .

I've never had a problem with it, and have used it to good effect on machines running Win9x & ME. On one machine, it recovered over 800Mb of disk space, but ymmv.

It's pretty configurable - you'd want to set it to keep your 'good' cookies for instance, and maybe certain history or recent filelists (or maybe not)

Computers in the future may have only 1,000 vacuum tubes and perhaps only weigh 1 1/2 tons.

I've used CCleaner for 4 months. I have found that running it in default settings works great. I have not backed up the registry and have had no issues. You may want to back up the registry at first just to be safe, you can always delete the back up later if all goes well.

I wouldn't worry about this program, it is EXCELLENT !

Yup let it get rid of everything it found , a lot of defunct entries and dll stuff and it did not cause any problems , the new version seems to be better than the older version i had .
