I need help!
My cpu sounds like its going to shoot off to the moon...all the time--even when no windows are open and the system should be idle. There are at least 4 instances of svchost.exe running in Task mgr. I end the process on some of them, and they bink right back up. I've run Avast, Kaspersky, Panda, and many other av programs. I've run spybot, ccleaner...you name it. Haven't found a thing. Did find a funny looking file, copied it, pasted it in a search window, and many related pages came up that took me to sites like this one and people with the same problems or similar problems. Please help! I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Boot to safe mode with N/W, if u have cable or DSL u will able to go online, try to run malwarebytes of combofix...(u canalso download them in normal mode and then boot to safemode)it should take care of the unwanted svchost process, its a virus thats creating the unwanted svchost process and consuming cpu useage
