If you have been infected, it may have left this rouge registry entry behind.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplorer exe

Check regedit & if you have it, Save it to your desktop before deleting.

Reboot & see if you still have a problem.

Hello .. how are you? :)

Go to your c:\program file (x86)\Internet explorer folder and scroll down and find the iexplore (application) file.

Double click on it to open it ... does IE open? If so then right click on the iexplore file and choose create shortcut or pin to start menu. Drag the shortcut to your desktop.

This does happen sometimes with IE.

If iexplore will not open from within the Internet Explorer folder then .. you have other issues .. post back and let me know.

:)
