corrupt ntoskrnl.exe file

OS: XPservice pack 2
CPU/Ram: AMD XP2400/1GB

Comment:

AVG scan came up with this "ntoskrnl.exe". Under result/infection it states "change". Unsure what this means and if any action is required. When scan was complete, stated no infections/threats found. This comes up now on every scan. Is this a concern? Computer seems to running o.k..
