I have norton anti-virus 2005 and several spyware programs.Adaware,SpySweeper,Spybot Search and Distroy,SpyBlass\ter ect..Nothing will remove this security threat from my computer,it's a Adware SAH agentthat is from shop at home select apparently. The corrupted file is C:\WINDOWS\system32\b3s.dll I followed Norton's advice on removing it but the add and remove has no listings of shop at home select.and It's gone into my system restore so antivirus and anti spyware can't remove it!!! Please HELP!!! Thanks!!

Part of AV removal advice is to temporarily turn off System Restore as this will clear previous restore data & so remove the threats which do hang around there. If it's a particular corrupted file I'd suggest removing it, as long as it's not a file normally associated with Windows (Google will help here if you're unsure, & you can always keep a copy on a floppy disk just in case it's needed, though if it's infected you'd be better to download a clean copy)

Download this free software (recommended by several Computing magazines)
AdAware-SE Personal

Thereafter Smart Scans are sufficient

hi,
I had +/- the same problem: NAV2005 wasn't able to remove it even with system restore disabled.I managed removing SAH by hand.
After removing SAH Agent, I had TCP/IP not working and I also managed to repair it without other computer to import registry files from.
I just left instructions at:

...too large to repeat...Hope this helps anyone.
