Continuous Reboot Mode

Here at the office, I have two computers that go into continuous reboot mode when they are turned on. We have tried to intercept the continuous reboot by trying Safe Mode with very limited success. When we used Safe Mode, then shut the computer down properly and turned it on again, it returned to its same cycle of continuous reboot mode. Both computers use Windows XP.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Would anyone recommend trying to boot up from disk to try to reload Windows?

Try this which I got from chuck2 Right click My Computer, Properties, Advanced tab, Settings button (Starup and Recovery), uncheck Automatically Restart.
Now you should get an error message when it happens again. Google the result
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

A good chance that you have corrupt user profiles. Are the computers networked and have there been any signs of viruses or spyware.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give it a try, although we haven't even been able to get the Windows main screen to come up (due to the incessant rebooting), so haven't been able to access Recovery mode. Will let you know how this turns out.
