I have pop-ups appearing over and over again, even when I am not browsing. I have run Ad-Aware and Spybot but the problem continues. It appears when I run Ad-Aware and Spybot that there are some files or registries that are found, which I have deleted before. It seems as if something is deeply hidden, continuously re-installing itself, or something...

Most popups come from ads that are downloaded on your computer as you visit a website, and then just used over and over again. I have found a technique that will stop virtually all popup ads. I found it on the Kazza Lite website, which is www.k-lite.tk. It is called the "supertrick". You download a host file and put it in a system folder and it prevents your computer from even communicating with websites that would cause random popups. Hope this helps.
