Pest Patrol online scan has found keys in the registry to Swaptor, Grokster, Wurld Media, Universetoolbar, and 12 others my spyware programs have never mentioned. In my situation I can't afford Pest Patrol. I am a resident in a nursing home. Please advise on what to do.

No need to pay for Pest Patrol. Go to http://wilders.org/ and get Adaware, Spybot and Spywareblaster. Spywareguard is also available there, if it has the features you might want. Some people like it, but I do not use it, but it is worth looking at.

Before you run those programs, be sure to first update the indexes from the programs. Without the updated indexes they are helpless. Sort of like a hi-powered rifle without any bullets. Just let them kill anything they find, nothing will harm your computer.
