Is there any conflict to run Spybot and Ad-ware along with the anti-spyware/adware properties in my anti-virus program? I know that you aren't to run two different firewalls together but what about these other programs?

There are none that the major antispyware websites know of. You might check out the forums at wilders, spywarewarrior, spywareinfo for more information.

I run Ad-Aware then Spy-bot then PC-cillan 2005 anti-spyware, and then AOL spyware. Overkill huh? Not really - because every once in a while one will find something the others didn't. There is no problem running any or all of them.

Thanks Capt & Patrick, I was just kind of curious. I had been running Windows firewall along with PC-cillin firewall when I was advised to only have one or the other. So with the new PC-cillin 2005 anti-spyware/adware program, I was wondering if I was defeating the purpose by having too many programs installed. They all seem to work just fine.

A quick follow-up here. Trend Micro just contacted me and advised me to ONLY use One other spyware/adware program in conjunction with PC-cillin 2005.
