Hi,
It only works if you check that box when you post a new message. Also, if your e-mail address changes after you post the message, it won't work. Finally, you have to have an e-mail address defined in your My Computing.Net settings at the time of posting. If you don't want the e-mail to be displayed on the posting, but still want to get e-mail updates, check the box about not displaying the e-mail in posts.

Good day Justin,
I think the OP is asking about why we don't notify him by e-mail that someone has responded to his thread. I believe we do not have such features like that, do we?

Hello,
Yes, Computing.Net has such a feature for people who post original threads. When you post an original thread, there is a checkbox that says "E-mail me when message receives replies." If this checkbox is checked, and you have an e-mail address defined in the My Computing.Net settings, you will be e-mailed when the message receives replies.
