Computer stuck at boot-up Windows XP

Help everytime I start my computer it gives me
options like
-safe mode
-safe mode with networking
-safe mode with command prompt
-last configuration
-normal

i tried everything and it won't go past...
i can't boot in safemode it has a list of these
documents and restarts and ask me those same list...

HELP!!! i really want to retrieve my files...
anyway i can savage my computer?

You can remove your drive and slave it to another PC, that's the
only thing right now because you never said what OS you are
running.

That sheds more light on the subject. You should have a dell XP install CD that came with the PC.
Why not use that and try a repair install? All you should lose are your critical updates and possibly the service packs which you can install when it's back up and running.
Here's how to do a repair install:

Follow that and you should get back up and running.

i am haveing the same problems and i put in a virus protection and set it to boot from cdrom it brings me to drive medic and ask me to click yes i want to use drive medic or no i dont but it wont let me click yes or no what should i do i have a custom computer with windows xp
