Computer Shuts down Randomly

My omputer randomly shuts down usually within the first 5 to 15 min of startup sometimes before the Bios can load up it shuts down. So I'm pretty sure it isn't a virus. I'm guessing that it is the Power supply but I didn't want to go buy it without knowing for sure that is the problem. I was wondering if anyone knows anything else it could possibly be without me spending a whole lot of money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
