my power kicked off and back on, now my computer won't boot up in to window or safe mode it just boot in to window with the option of last know config or start window norm, etc. it won't boot into anything. used my windows cd to reload boot records but still only keep rebooting. could it be a virus. before the power kicked off i download a movie, i think.

Don't worry its not a virus. Just format your sp3 and the booting problem will go away.
