My PC keeps restarting in only a few minute upon every startup. Explorer does not show up, I can't system restore, nor have I been able to get the safe mode. My trial to the antivirus NOD expired, so I deleted it. I had to restart my PC for the changes to effect or w/e, but I forgot to install a new antivirus. Now my PC will not startup. The fan works, the jingle when windows starts up happens whe started up. COuld this be a virus? If so, would replacing to hardrive be ok? I was able to start taks manage the first time this happened, and I say 2 J.exes, I cannot be sure what it ws for. I had done a malware scan or w/e just a week prior do this issue. The PC is a HP Slimeline, 2G of RAM, celeron processor. Any ideas?

Please clarify what you wrote... no idea what you mean here: "malware scan or w/e just a week prior" What is "w/e"? Windows Editor(???) "and I say 2 J.exes" WHAT!?!? If it's a virus AND you don't care about any info on the hard drive (ie: pictures, documents, music, etc.) you can try the built-in HP recovery to wipe everything out and redo Windows (tap F10 or F11 as soon as you turn the power on and the HP logo comes up).
