It all started when I tried to burn or rip a cd. My computer turned off and restarted after I started to burn or rip a cd. I thought it was overheating. I got the case to my computer open, cleaned all the dust out and made sure everything was plugged in. Now my computer won't even boot properly. Can anyone identify the problem?

Download and run Kaspersky AVP tool:

http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com...

Once you download and start the tool select all the objects/places to be scanned and hit Scan. Fix what it detects and at the end of the scan post screen shot/log of detected items that is fixed and which it could not fix.
