Recently my PC has been slow and sometime completely freezes. When it freezes, I have to do a hard re-boot. Sometimes it does a restart on it's own. I have done a 'hi-jack this' scan but don't know what to make of it. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

Actually paste you results of HJT in http://hijackthis.de/
and then google the questionable problems in your log to see what is safe and what can be removed.

Also, make sure you have created a folder named HJT on C: drive so that whatever you remove can be recovered if you delete something vital.
Good Luck

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Thanks for the replies. I did the hi-jack analysis thing and it came up with a couple of questionable things that I removed. Things have been running a little better but still slow. I feel that there is a conflict in software somewhere but can’t seem to pinpoint it. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

It is always worth checking for nasties but slow downs can also be due to other things.

Clear your temporary internet files, check to see if you have unnecessary background tasks or services running, and defrag if it has been yonks since you did so.
