I got a really bad virus and need to reinstall windows trought ms dos.. this virus is blocking me to open all types of programs.. how can i find the prompt from dos as soon i turn the computer on..( dell latitude). I do have the cd ind driver..Please help me

Windows XP doesn't use DOS, so what I suspect you need to do is boot the PC from the Dell restore disk - this should be just a case of pressing F12 at boot to access the boot menu or to acces the BIOS & change the boot priority from there. As the system starts you should see which F keys you need to choose - watch out for the options, they won't stay on the screen for very long.
