I've been using Kerio for a couple of years, now and am planning on upgrading the latest version.
However, after all of the glowing reviews I've heard regarding Comodo, I'm thinking of switching? Can someone give me some advice on which way I should go with this decision? Kerio was such a pain to set up that I'm tempted to just upgrade and import my old settings rather than have to go through all that again with Comodo. LOL.
Thanks.

Hey there, I've been using Comodo for a while now and haven't had a bit of trouble with it so far. The only setting I ever made was to open it up for Bittorrent traffic, otherwise the default settings seem to be great.

Comodo Personal Firewall

Comodo has > Scan for known applications ( it reduces the number of popups after installing ) Refer below.

Also, if you want less popups & lower security, tick > Do not show any alerts for the applications certified by Comodo.

Hi Dave426, I havent too use Comodo. But how do you open up the traffic for bittorent?

Hey ChrisFoo, all you need to do once you have the port forwarded on your router (if you have one), is go into Comodo and click "Network Monitor". From there, click on Add and it will bring you to a box of settings.
1. Set "Action" to Allow.
2. Protocol should be "TCP or UDP"
3. Source IP should be set to "Any"
4. Destination IP should be set to your particular IP address.5. Source Port should be set to "Any"
6. Destination Port should be set to whatever port number you have forwarded on your router or whatever port you want to use if you don't have a router. After that you should be set to go as far as the firewall configuration.

Thanks for the advice, everyone.
While I'm here, I'm planning on switching my anti-spyware, as well. I've narrowed it down to Spyware Doctor, Spy Sweeper and SUPER Anti-Spyware. I'm wondering what you folks would suggest?
I'm currently trying Spy Sweeper, but it's harsh on my system resources.
Thanks again.

If you're careful about what sites you visit and what you download Riot, you will probably do just fine with the free Windows Defender from Microsoft, Ad-Aware, and SpywareBlaster.
Spysweeper still gets good reviews and it's an excellent app, but if it kills your resources, you aren't likely to want to run it all the time. That means you wouldn't be protected 24/7 and you really wouldn't be getting your moneys' worth from it.
