Specs: Windows XP
When I go to my start and run...and i type
CMD it tells me "Windows cannot access the
speceified device, path, or file. You may not
have the apporpriate permissions to access
them." Another problem i have is when i do a
Control alt delete nothing pops up...well it
pops up then just vanishes. Any idea?
When i am starting the windows, it dispalys the some virus scan problem i.e c:\system32\autorun.ini file is damaged.

kesava, Go to the link below and scroll down to line 275 (left column) and click on "Lift Restrictions - TM, Regedit and CMD" to download a vbs file and run it.

To use the VBS Files: Download .vbs file and save it to your hard drive (you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Double
click the vbs file. You will be prompted when the script is done.
