I have tried to run check disk, disk defragmenter and system restore in safe mode as well as normal, but it does not run. Check disk says it will run next boot up, but doesn't. It says it is being used by another volume. Disk defragmenter could not start. System Restore has not restore points. HELP! I have AVG, and have downloaded MALAWARE & Hijack. Still these 3 programs do not work.
